In memory of Marcia Dworkin, may she rest in peace, the Board of JC3/CHESMA is proud to support the tzedakah initiative, Guardian Angels Program.

Marcia Dworkin is remembered by numerous friends in Canada and Mexico as a free-spirited, creative and generous person who loved living in San Miguel de Allende, a central Mexican town much favoured by American and Canadian expatriates.

Its mission is to assure the well-being of residents of SMA by making daily connections with people living alone. Volunteers phone or email every day to check in on anyone who wishes to sign up for this program, regardless of religious affiliation. We distribute special bilingual refrigerator magnet containers to store vital emergency medical data, called the "File of Life".

A voluntary donation upon registration of at least 150 pesos is requested for this important community service; larger donations will be graciously accepted, of course. No one will be excluded for inability to pay.
